Step-by-step written instructions
-

-
Printable templates, where applicable

Please read the product description carefully before purchasing to ensure that the tutorial is suitable for your needs and level of sewing experience.

When you purchase or download a Watership Down Crafts tutorial, you receive a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the tutorial.
The copyright and all other intellectual property rights remain the property of Watership Down Crafts.
You may:
-
Download and save the tutorial for your own use
-
Print a copy for your own use

Anyone wishing to use a tutorial must purchase or download their own authorised copy.
Where practical, please credit Watership Down Crafts as the tutorial designer when selling finished items made from one of our tutorials.
5. Free Resources
Free tutorials, templates and other downloadable resources remain the intellectual property of Watership Down Crafts.
They are provided for individual use and must not be copied, distributed, resold or uploaded elsewhere.
The fact that a resource is provided free of charge does not place it in the public domain or remove its copyright protection.
6. Finished Handmade Products
Finished handmade products are made in small quantities and may sometimes be one of a kind.
Because they are handmade, there may be slight differences between individual products. These small variations are part of the handmade nature of the item and are not necessarily faults.
We make reasonable efforts to display colours and details accurately. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, device and display settings.
Product measurements are approximate unless stated otherwise.
7. Prices
Prices are shown on the website in pounds sterling unless another currency is displayed.
The total price payable will be shown before you complete your order.
Any applicable delivery charges will be shown during checkout.
We may change our prices at any time, but a price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of an error, we may contact you before accepting or fulfilling the order. You may then choose whether to continue with the corrected price or cancel the order for a full refund.
8. Placing an Order
By placing an order, you are offering to purchase the selected product under these Terms and Conditions.
You must provide complete and accurate information when placing your order, including your email address and, for physical products, your delivery address.
After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation. This acknowledges that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
A contract is formed when:
-
Access to a digital product is provided to you; or
-
We confirm that a finished handmade product has been accepted for fulfilment
We may be unable to accept an order if:
-
The product is unavailable
-
Payment cannot be authorised
-
There is an obvious error in the price or description
-
We cannot deliver the physical product to the address provided
-
We have reasonable grounds to believe the order is fraudulent or unlawful
If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot accept, the payment will be refunded.
9. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.
By submitting payment details, you confirm that:
-
You are authorised to use the selected payment method
-
The information provided is accurate
-
Sufficient funds or credit are available to complete the purchase
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not directly store your complete payment card details.
10. Delivery of Digital Products
Digital tutorials will normally be made available after payment has been completed.
A download link may be displayed after checkout or sent to the email address provided with the order.
You are responsible for:
-
Providing a correct email address
-
Checking your inbox and junk or spam folders
-
Using a compatible device and PDF reader
-
Saving a copy of the purchased file for future use
Please contact us if you do not receive or cannot access your download.
We may provide a replacement download link after verifying your purchase.
11. Delivery of Finished Handmade Products
Finished handmade products are currently delivered within the UK only.
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and are not guaranteed unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. If a substantial delay occurs, we will contact you where possible and explain the available options.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the product is delivered to you or to a person identified by you to receive it.
12. Digital Cancellation Rights
When you purchase a digital tutorial and choose to receive access immediately, you may be asked to:
-
Give your express consent for the digital content to be supplied during the usual 14-day cancellation period
-
Acknowledge that your right to cancel will be lost once the download or supply begins
Once the digital content has begun downloading or has been made available following that consent and acknowledgement, you will not normally have the right to cancel simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the digital content is faulty, inaccessible or not as described.
Further information is available in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
13. Returns for Finished Handmade Products
Eligible finished handmade products may be returned in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy.
Different rules apply to:
-
Digital downloads
-
Standard finished products
-
Personalised or custom-made products
-
Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products
Please read our Returns and Refunds Policy before making a purchase.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.
14. Faulty Digital Content
Digital content supplied by Watership Down Crafts should be:
-
Of satisfactory quality
-
Fit for its stated purpose
-
As described
Please contact us if a tutorial is corrupted, incomplete, inaccessible or materially different from its description.
We will first try to resolve the problem by providing assistance, correcting the file or supplying a replacement.
Where the problem cannot be resolved within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to an appropriate refund or price reduction.
15. Sewing Results and User Responsibility
Our tutorials provide instructions and guidance, but the finished result will depend on matters outside our control, including:
-
Your sewing experience
-
Your sewing machine and equipment
-
The fabrics and materials selected
-
Printing and cutting accuracy
-
Whether the instructions are followed correctly
We cannot guarantee that every user will achieve an identical result.
You are responsible for checking that the project, materials, tools and techniques are suitable for your experience and intended use.
Take appropriate care when using sewing machines, needles, scissors, irons, rotary cutters and other equipment.
Children should be appropriately supervised when sewing or using sewing equipment.
16. Projects Intended for Children
A sewing tutorial showing an item for a child does not necessarily mean that the finished item is legally classed or tested as a toy.
Anyone making products for sale is responsible for determining which legal and safety requirements apply to the finished product, including any applicable testing, labelling or product-safety obligations.
Unless expressly stated in the product description, purchasing a tutorial does not include certification, compliance testing or permission to claim that the finished item meets a particular safety standard.
17. Website Content
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on the website accurate and up to date.
However, website content may occasionally contain typing errors, technical inaccuracies or outdated information.
We may correct errors and update website content when necessary.
General sewing information published on the website is provided for guidance and should not be treated as professional technical, legal or safety advice.

This includes liability for:
-
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
-
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
-
Breach of your statutory consumer rights
-
Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms and Conditions or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

22. Privacy and Personal Information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Please read the Privacy Policy to understand how information is collected, used, stored and protected.

23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes to:
-
Our products or services
-
The operation of the website
-
Payment or delivery arrangements
-
Relevant laws or regulations
The version that applies to your purchase will normally be the version published when you placed your order.
Updates will not retrospectively reduce rights that have already arisen under an accepted order.
The date at the top of this page shows when these Terms and Conditions were last updated.
24. Severability
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
25. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you in the country where you live.
